Art Garfunkel

Garfunkel is best known as half of the duo Simon & Garfunkel (1962–70), formed with his grade-school friend Paul Simon. Their albums include Wednesday Morning 3 a.m. (1964) and Bridge Over Troubled Water (1970). His solo albums include Angel Clare (1973), Scissors Cut (1981), and Up 'Til Now (1993), and his movies include Carnal Knowledge (1971) and Boxing Helena (1993). His walk across the United States, completed over a 12-year period, was the subject of a recent documentary. Simon and Garfunkel were the recipients of six Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
