Levi Stubbs was the lead singer of the 1960s Motown group the Four Tops who recorded hits that include âReach Out, Iâll Be Thereâ and âBernadette.â The grouped formed when they were still in high and went on to get 40 hits on the Billboard pop charts. Stubbs sang with the other three members of the group for over 40 years. The Four Tops first hit to reach number one on the charts was âI Canât Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)â in 1965. The group was inducted the the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
