Birthplace: Long Beach, California
Sally Kellerman made her film debut in Reform School Girl (1959), soon developing a following through a series of eccentric roles on television and in little-known films; briefly, she was best known as the last surviving victim of The Boston Strangler (1968). She found her movie breakthrough role in M*A*S*H (1970) as the temperamental army major Hot Lips Houlihan. Other film appearances include The Player (1992), Ready to Wear (1994) and American Virgin (2000). Kellerman supplements her ongoing film career with stints as a nightclub singer, television and radio narration and commercial voice-overs. She was married to producer Jonathan Krane (1980–1997).
