Jeremiah Millbank

With the money he made from founding his own investment banking firm on in 1926, he established the Institute for the Crippled and Disabled (1917), the first rehabilitation center in the U.S.A. He dabbled in the early film industry by providing financial backing for the first film on the life of Jesus Christ, King of Kings (1926–27). His other philanthropic efforts included funding studies on diptheria and infantile paralysis.
