Heng Swee Keat

Heng Swee Keat, 1961–, Singaporean political leader. A member of the People's Action party (PAP), he was secretary (1997–2000) to Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, and head of Singapore's central bank (2005–11). He has served in parliament since 2011 and also as Singapore's education minister (2011–15), finance minister (2015–), deputy prime minister (2019–), and coordinating minister for economic policies (2020–).
