Inglewood

Inglewood, city (2020 pop. 107,762), Los Angeles co., S Calif., a residential and industrial suburb of Los Angeles, in an oil-producing area; founded 1873, inc. 1908. Its manufactures include motor-vehicle parts, furniture, processed food, plastics, and electronic equipment. The city is also home of the Forum, the former home of the Lakers basketball team and a popular concert venue. The noted Hollywood Park racetrack closed in 2013; the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers football teams share the stadium (opened 2020) now on the site.
