Redditch

Redditch, city (1991 pop. 61,639) and district, Worcestershire, central England. Redditch was designated one of the new towns in 1964 to alleviate overpopulation in Birmingham and the Black Country. It has grown into a city with various light manufactures, including needles, fishing tackle, springs, bicycles, and motorcycles.
