Adam and Eve, Life of,
early Jewish work included in the collection known as the Old Testament Pseudepigrapha
. It was probably written in Hebrew between 100 BC and AD 100. Based on the Old Testament story, it supplements the original. It has been interpreted to teach that Eve was the source of Adam's sin and that she was responsible for the Fall.
