Letting the "Air" out of the NBA
You've undoubtedly been inundated over the last few days with Jordan's numerous accomplishments. If you haven't been, you're about to:
• In 930 regular season games, he failed to score at least 10 points just once — and that came in 1986, when he scored eight points in just 16 minutes of action while recovering from a broken foot.
• Jordan scored at least 50 points in a game 26 times and scored 60 or more four times. On March 28, 1990, he torched the Cleveland Cavaliers for 69 points. Only four players have scored more points in a single game.
• The Chicago Bulls won six of the last eight NBA Championships. The two they didn't win came in 1994 and 1995, while Jordan took a hiatus to play baseball.
