(William Patrick Muldoon, III)
Birthplace: San Pedro, California
Posing for the “Men of USC” calendar during the late 1980s prompted Patrick Muldoon to begin modeling. After appearing in ads for such designers as Calvin Klein, Muldoon turned to acting, appearing in a small role in the Saturday teen comedy Saved by the Bell (1990), a small but recurring role on the ABC situation comedy Who's The Boss? (1990), and a guest appearance on USA cable outlet's Silk Stalkings (1990). Based on that work, Muldoon landed the role of Austin Reed on the NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives (1992–95). Scheduled for a four-episode appearance on Fox's nighttime drama Melrose Place (1995–96), Muldoon's character, fashion designer Richard Hart, proved so popular that producer Aaron Spelling made him a regular. Muldoon then began the transition to the big screen, appearing in Starship Troopers (1997) and Stigmata (1999).
