LUKEN, Charles J., (son of Thomas Andrew Luken), a Representative from Ohio; born in Cincinnati, Ohio, July 18, 1951; B.A., University of Notre Dame, 1973; J.D., University of Cincinnati College of Law, 1976; was admitted to the bar in 1976 and commenced practice in Cincinnati; member, Cincinnati City Council, 1981-1984; mayor of Cincinnati, 1985-1990; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Second Congress (January 3, 1991-January 3, 1993); was not a candidate for renomination in 1992 to the One Hundred Third Congress; is a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio.
