BUCK, Frank Henry, a Representative from California; born on a ranch near Vacaville, Solano County, Calif., September 23, 1887; attended the public schools; was graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1908 and from the law department of Harvard University in 1911; was admitted to the bar the same year and commenced practice in San Francisco, Calif.; fruit grower and farmer at Vacaville, Calif.; also engaged in the lumber business and in oil refining; delegate to the Democratic National Conventions in 1928, 1936, and 1940; elected as a Democrat to the Seventy-third and to the four succeeding Congresses and served from March 4, 1933, until his death in Washington, D.C., September 17, 1942; interment in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, Vacaville, Calif.
