Woo got his start in show business at Hong Kong's Cathay Studios, where he worked as a script supervisor. His films include The Young Dragons (1973), The Killer (1989), and A Better Tommorrow (1986), the highest grossing Hong Kong film of all time and the movie that first brought Woo international attention. His recent movies include Hard Target (1993), his American debut, Face/Off (1997), Mission Impossible 2 (2000), and Paycheck (2003).
