Pierce Brosnan

Irish-born actor whose starring role in the American TV detective series Remington Steele (1982–87) made him a popular sex symbol. Brosnan achieved international fame when he succeeded Roger Moore as the “new” James Bond in Goldeneye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and The World Is Not Enough (1999). Brosnan studied at the Drama Centre in London and participated in experimental theatre before he moved to Los Angeles. He went on to star in Mrs Doubtfire(1993), Mars Attacks! (1996), and The Thomas Crown Affair(1999).
