Eguren, Jos Mara
Eguren, Jos Mara h?s? m?r? ?go?or?n [key], 1882?1942, Peruvian poet. Originally devoted to modernismo, Eguren avoided its excesses and wrote terse, musical, and sometimes obscure poems. His strange images, symbols, and dreamlike visions were wrought into a framework of formal perfection. Simblicas (1911), La cancin de las figuras (1916), and Poesas (1929) are his best-known collections.
