Adler, Elmer

Adler, Elmer ăd´lər , 1884–1962, American bibliophile and printer, b. Rochester, N.Y. From 1930 to 1940 he published The Colophon, a highly regarded quarterly of bibliographic research and information for book collectors it was produced with fine printing. Adler became curator of the graphic arts department of Princeton in 1940, retiring in 1952.
