Mazaruni

Mazaruni mäzəro͞oˈnē [key], river, c.350 mi (560 km) long, rising in the Guiana Highlands, NW Guyana, and flowing generally E to the Essequibo River at Bartica. The river is the center of Guyana's diamond industry.
