Rüsselsheim

Rüsselsheim rüsˈəls-hīm [key], city (1994 pop. 60,361), Hesse, central W central Germany, on the Main River. It is a center for the assembly of automobiles. Rüsselsheim was chartered in 1437 and passed to Hesse in 1479.
