Vest-Agder vĕst´-äg˝dər [key], county (1995 pop. 149,563), 2,810 sq mi (7,278 sq km), S Norway, bordering on the Skagerrak in the south. Kristiansand is the capital. Farming, shipping, fishing, and the manufacture of forest products are the chief occupations. Lindesnes , Norway's southernmost point, is in Vest-Agder.
