Aix-les-Bains
Aix-les-Bains ĕks-lā-băN´ [key], town (1990 pop. 24,826), Savoie dept., SE France, situated on Lake Bourget at the foot of the Alps. It is a popular resort and spa. The town's alum and sulfur springs have been frequented since Roman times. There are ruins of Roman baths.
