Ziph zĭf [key], in the Bible. 1 Judahite. 1 Chron. 4.16. 2 Unidentified city, S ancient Palestine. 3 City, S ancient Palestine, the modern Khirbat Zif, West Bank, SSE of Hebron. David hid at Ziph in his flight from Saul. Ziph is the title of Psalm 54.
