HUGUNIN, Daniel, Jr., a Representative from New York; born in Montgomery County, N.Y., February 6, 1790; pursued classical studies; served in the War of 1812; successfully contested the election of Egbert Ten Eyck as an Adams candidate to the Nineteenth Congress and served from December 15, 1825, until March 3, 1827; appointed on March 15, 1841, United States marshal for the Territory of Wisconsin; died in Kenosha, Wis., June 21, 1850; interment in Green Ridge Cemetery.
