Naomie Harris

Naomie Harris is an English actress who played Miss Moneypenny in James Bond movies and then earned an Oscar nomination for her role as a crack addict in the 2016 Barry Jenkins film Moonlight. With a little experience as a child actor, she studied drama at Cambridge University (1998) and at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Not long after, she got her first big movie break in Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later (2002). Since then, Naomie Harris has earned critical raves for dramatic performances in television programs (2002's White Teeth) as well as feature films (she played Winnie Mandela in 2013's Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom). Harris is also known to moviegoers for her role as magical Tia Dalma in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007), and for her turn as Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond movies Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015, both starring Daniel Craig). Moonlight brought Harris her first Oscar nomination.
