Pittsburgh Steelers defeat Arizona Cardinals, 27-23, 2008 Season
Super Bowl XLIII Santonio Holmes
By winning Super Bowl XLIII, the Pittsburgh Steelers became the first team to win the Super Bowl six times. It was also their second championship in four years. The Arizona Cardinals were after their first title since 1947, the longest stretch without a championship of any team in the league. Despite a strong fourth quarter comeback led by veteran quarterback Kurt Warner during which Arizona scored 16 unanswered points, the defense could not hold the Steelers. Pittsburgh topped off a 78-yard game-winning drive with a touchdown catch by Santonio Holmes (pictured above) with 35 seconds left. Holmes won Super Bowl MVP with nine catches, four of which came on the game's final drive.
